Why is this agreement illegal ?

1. The Queensland Government does not own the parcel of land known as the Double Island Point Conservation Park.
2. This land is owned by the Dalungbara Aboriginal People under Possessory Title.
There has never been a clear attempt by any government, including the Queensland Government to extingush the underlying possessory title of the Dalungbara Aboriginal People.

3. The Crown in the right of Queensland merely has radical title to this Conservation Park, as it does with all land titles in the State of Queensland.
4. The Queensland Government never consulted with the Dalungbara Aboriginal People about entering into contract with a third party to use this Conservation Park.

Other remarks
The Queensland Government perpetuates the myth that crown lands, national parks, conservation parks and state forests etc. are 'owned' by the government.
These areas where Native, Aboriginal and Possessory Titles have not been extinguished, are still the property of the Aboriginal Peoples.
