Dear Lyall,
Hi I have been meaning to write
to you for a long time but I have not
got around to it. I love brumbies as
well and even though I am
only 12 I keep a record on how many I see and where
and do
petitions like your friend Jan. I see about 20 herds up at *****
and ***** near ***** close to my nans farm
in *****. (locations
have been deleted to protect these brumbies)
Right now I am covered
in pine zap from my nans pine logs
that she is falling this month. I have
always wanted Brumbies
to run on her property that's why I am going to type
a story
that takes place on her property. When I start it and finish it
I will send it to you to put on Jan website. I have enclosed
some photos,
drawings and stories for you to put on the web sites
and was wondering if
you could return the photos as I only have
one copy each. In the future I
will send you and Jan some videos
of the brumbies that I take. Here are the
names of all the herds I
have seen.
The
hill Hovers = 15
The charity Herd = 9
The Faithful Lot = 10
The hopeful
Herd = 6
The Main Mob = 8 but possibly 9
The Road Hoggers = ? But we think
there are at least 6
The cunning one = 1
The small Four = 4
The two
gallopers = 2
The black boy = 1
The Bay ten = 10
The Cimarron = 25-30
The young ones = 8
Blaze = 1 but has got a herd but we never get to see them
Total = 113 horses
As you can see I have
found a lot of horses in the forests and grasslands. There
isn't much grassland
though it's all pine and gum trees but they still manage to eat a
Lot. I name
some horses I find but it is hard to name them all, as there are one hundred
And seventeen of them. I admire your work as well as Jan's and hope you will
Continue to do it through out your lives. Here are some stories and drawings of
and
About Brumbies I hope you like them
