money received from adoption fees goes to
pay anyone for their time in working with brumbies. All profits go
directly back into BWA to assist in the future protection of brumbies.

horses for adoption -
The wild horses below are from
off private property. They were very wild when
captured and exhibit the characteristics of brumbies, however as their history
is
not known they have not been classed here as brumbies.

Timid nature.
Training ongoing.
Age - between 5 and 6 years
old.
Height approximately 12 hands.
Has been castrated.
Adoption price $350.00

There are several brumbies requiring permanent homes. Your assistance
as a caring horse lover is
essential in helping these brumbies to survive. Please fill in and return your

address provided. Take time to view our brumbies on this site and contact us
to make arrangements
to view any brumbies that interest you.
Should you not be in a position to adopt or foster, making a donation for feed
for the winter would
be greatly appreciated. There are seven at present awaiting homes and will need
keeping going through
winter until homes are found.
We never know just when brumbies are coming in and with our present numbers
we may not be able to
help many more until these are homed. This will be tragic for any brumby which
is in need of rescueing.
All brumbies are at different levels of gentling and vary in ages as well as
temperments.
As of August '06 we have lowered the adoption prices due to drought in S.E.
Queensland, and also due
to the fact that we were unable to recently save another seven wild horses.

Approximately
4 years old.
13 hands high.
Leads well.
Can pick up all hooves, and touch all over.
Gentle with quiet nature.
Due to injury to a pastern bone, she can not be ridden.
Will make a good companion horse and grass cutter.
