Adopted brumbies at their new homes
Above left: Solomon the stallion saddled up. Above right: Gypsy and her young foal Windsong. Darrien and Carol Schrader from Warwick, Queensland, adopted Solomon and Gypsy. Windsong was born after being adopted. Solomon is shown here with the Schrader's daughter, Belinda. Belinda has been working with Solomon and is approaching the stage where she will soon be able to ride him. Gypsy and her foal are shown here with Carol.
Above : Zorro is shown here at his new home near Ballina in New South Wales. He was adopted by John and Dianna Kavulak. Dianna is a graduate from the Monty Roberts training centre in the United States. For his age and height, it looks like Zorro might become a tall horse by the time he finishes growing.

Above right: "Misses Witherspoon", "Spooky-Doo", and "Randy" in their new home on a few hundred acres of grazing country and bush - what a life.
Phil and Liz Newberry from near Crows Nest in Queensland agreed to foster these three brumbies until permanent homes could be found for them. After only a short time they became rather attached to these three, and have now adopted them as part of their family. We believe Mrs Witherspoon is Randy's mother as they look so alike.

3 After arriving at his new home, 'Jaspa' decided to adopt 'Marney' as his new mother.
After Jaspa's continual sucking on Marney, his new mother came into lactation.
Friends and acquaintances of the Chambers have asked when Marney foaled, only to be told that Jaspa is not her real foal.
Marney has made a wonderful mother.
3 Early 2004.
'Jaspa' was known as 'Cammey before he was adopted by Cliff and Jacqui Chambers from near Esk in Queensland.
