Meet four of six members of an Australian brumby mob
Meet a brumby mob of four

This mob was relatively 'shy'.
The photos were taken by Bob using
a very high powered lense, as it was
impossible to approach them to within
about, say 800 metres.

Bob Langrish, one of the foremost international equestrian photographers,
visited Australia in January 2007 to photograph brumbies and Walers.

Bob and his wife Pam visited Brumby Watch Australia, and Lyall had the pleasure
of taking Bob and Pam out into some remote bush areas to view brumbies in the
wild and obtain some stunning photographs.

The images below, which have a link to a larger image, have been chosen by
permission from Bob's collection of photos taken while visiting Brumby Watch
Australia, and have been cropped and slightly digitally sharpened.
At the bottom of the page is a photo of Bob photographing a Waler.

This mob also was relatively shy. The shots were taken at their 'favourite' place (guestimate of a
few hundred acres) amongst a medium density treed section of their home range (guestimate of
two, maybe three thousand acres).
